This role will be working directly with our Production Leadership team.This is a Permanent, Full-time role based in Canning Vale, WA. Responsibilities:Monitor and coordinate the preventative maintenance program ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.Monitor equipment and acting to improve where necessary.Maintain spare parts stock levels to ensure optimal inventory in support of the operations.Conduct monthly spare parts stock take and report back to site Operations manager.Supervise daily activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedure and legislation.Participate in and lead regular communication to ensure effective contractor resource planning in line with project expectations.Source and coordinate sub-contractors to complete necessary works.Regularly review and update relevant contractor information to ensure documentation is accurate and legally compliant.Collaborate and maintain a high level of cooperation with other departments, related to service, cost and productivity.Responsible for all handovers and checklists generated internally for the quality system.Attend toolbox meetings conveying and communicating operational and interdepartmental.Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.Requirements:3+ Years’ general site maintenance experience in a similar roleCertification or training in Mechanical Fitting; Training in Plant and Equipment Maintenance will be an added advantageExperience applying proactive OH&S practices and understanding of HACCP principlesExperience or exposure to the food industry in a maintenance capacityHACCP experience or accreditation would be desirable.Excellent problem solving and decision-making skillsStrong organizational and interpersonal skills.
